Kraner Future Leaders Internship

Are you ready to take the first step toward a rewarding career in financial planning and wealth management? At Kraner Wealth Management, we are proud to offer an enriching 8-week summer internship program designed to prepare the next generation of financial professionals.

The program begins with an immersive in-office onboarding week, where you'll meet our team, receive in-depth training, and gain practical knowledge about our business operations. Each week, we will go over various topics as it pertains to a financial planning firm and put together your own business plan. This foundation will equip you with the skills needed to assist in prospecting a specific niche target market while also introducing you to the broader financial planning industry.

By the end of the internship, you will have gained a comprehensive understanding of the financial planning process, including how tailored strategies help clients achieve their short- and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities and Program Highlights

Throughout the internship, you will:

• Gain foundational knowledge of financial planning principles and industry practices.
• Participate in weekly meetings with industry professionals covering key topics, including:
  • Equities and Fixed Income
  • 401(k) Plans
  • Life Insurance and Annuities
  • Compliance and Marketing Strategies
• Utilize LinkedIn Sales Navigator to assist in prospecting and building a targeted database.
• Collaborate on creating innovative marketing campaigns to enhance brand awareness.
• Build your own business plan to give you a portfolio of work to provide potential employers or utilize yourself post graduation.
• Engage in business development activities, such as networking events and client seminars.

Application Timeline

We will begin accepting resumes on January 5th, with submissions closing on April 15th. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis in the order that resumes are received.
